Investing in natural resources, infrastructure, and litigation situations across Asia and with a particular emphasis on emerging and frontier markets, Rasia has completed several turnaround investments in Mongolia, Indonesia, and Singapore involving multijurisdictional litigation with ongoing distressed and litigation investments in Australia and Asia more widely. Rasia also has consortium-based investments in emerging sectors within Central Asia.
Rasia invests using a private equity approach to public investing in both liquid and semi-liquid securities as well as in private companies where a near-term liquidity event exists or can be created.
Exclusively deploying internal shareholder capital, with AUM in excess of US$150 million, in off-market, privately negotiated, bilateral investment strategies over short- and medium-term horizons, Rasia focuses on equity, debt, royalty, and convertible debt instruments and actively seeks to avoid, making open market investments or disposals.
